We're BACK!!!!

We are back in KC! Claire and I had a great time in Texas. We got to celebrate so many things! We were there for Mimmy and Daddy A's anniversary, Nonnie and Pop's anniversary, a week at the beach (daddy joined us for that trip), Claire got to meet both of my college roommates, and we celebrated Pop's 79th b-day!!!!!! I got to go a wedding and a bachelorette party....so fun! Great to get away with the girls!! Needless to say, we had a ton of fun! We are so glad to have been able to go and stay that long! And, Claire got so much attention....I think she is going to go through a little adjustment period!!!!! :) We really missed Strick too much!!!!

Claire has changed so much! She is now soooooooo mobile! She is all over the place...crawling and pulling up on everything! I spent yesterday totally baby proofing the house. I had ordered all the stuff, but thought I had plenty of time to get it up....not so much! When this girl decided to go...she was off!!!! She also learned to dance at the beach! It is pretty much the most hilarious thing you have ever seen! It is a little like Beyonce!!!! Very scary!

I took tons of pictures! I will start at the beginning and try and catch up before this coming weekend....Chad and Kate are coming so I will have some fun pictures from then too.....many that will probably not be suitable for Claire's blog ;)

All dressed up with Mimmy. Mom took Claire to her school to see some of the kids and some fellow teachers. She loves other kids and enjoyed it! I enjoyed sleeping in while they were gone! I got so much rest!!!!!

How do I look???

Nonnie and Pop came over every day to see Claire! As you all know, I so love my Nonnie and Pop...they have been such influential people in my life. I am so very grateful that Claire got to have that time with them! She loves Pop, and as you can see, the feeling is mutual! She can't wait for them to make the trip to come see her for her 1st birthday party in October!!!!!
