Almost everyday we talk to Nonnie and Pop and my mom. Claire loves to hear their voices when I put it on speaker. She smiles and talks back too!

At this point we had switched over and pushed several buttons....afternoon talk time is now over :(

BBQ on Saturday

We had a great weekend! Chad and Kate were here and we had so much fun! We ate a lot!!! Kate and I got away on Saturday and went to the museum here in Kansas City. It was great!


We played outside on Saturday afternoon. I only got a few pictures from the whole weekend! These 2 are pretty cute of Claire playing with Kate! Claire was quite taken by Kate. She liked Chad too...she seemed to "study" him every time he held her.






Claire invited her friend Isabella to come play. Sarah, Isabella's mother, is trying to help Claire play nicely! I promise she is not going for the throat here....maybe just a little hug! She loves other kids and likes to get super close! Ella was so sweet to her!

Pop's 79th birthday!!!!

Claire and I were so excited to be there for Pop's birthday! We had some great food, and Claire loved helping out with the presents. Here she is with her bows! She played with them for a while after that!

Pop's sister, Mary Frances, was able to join us from Henderson. Such a great day! We were so lucky to be able to stay in Texas for so long and do so many fun things!

While I was at Shannon's bachelorette party, Claire discovered banana pops. They were a huge hit! Here she is trying to get the last bite!

Here we are! This is one of my lovely college roommates, Kara, and her precious little one, Parker. They were in Houston for Parker's 3rd birthday and were kind enough to come meet us for a little breakfast one morning.



Kara assured me that Parker loved little girls.....good because he has a little sister on the way. I don't think he knew exactly what to think when Claire attacked him! She really goes for it! He was very sweet to her!




What a great big brother he will be!!!!!!

After I took a long nap one afternoon....this is where I found Claire! Mom was cooking and Claire got to get in all the cabinets! She had so much fun! She even climbed in one later that day.

Bad hair day?

Yes, ladies.....you may have the name of my hairdresser, but only if you ask nicely!

This is how I found this little girl after nap yesterday! I really don't know what happened. I think she is going to have my hair! The weather was a little humid, and humidity does not work for us Tudor gals! Claire thought it was really funny! After some water, some brushing, and a bow we made it to Target!

Claire loves other kids!!! So, Nonnie has this doll that looks like another child! She wanted to bring it out and see what Claire would do. It was hilarious!!! She really thought this was a new friend! She looks like she has suffered a little abuse over the years. She needs a little attention with her hair-do, but otherwise, she is pretty cute!!

Happy 4th of July!

Claire has really started to show her individual personality! She is a mess! This girl is so independent....already! The other day she was climbing the stairs and I had my hand on her back....she sat down on a stair and turned and pushed my hand away!!!!
