Christmas.............

Yes, I realize it is already the middle of January, but here are our pictures from Christmas! Where does the time go??? We headed to Dallas before Christmas and ran into a horrible storm. It was awful! What should have taken us 8 hours took us about 12!!!!!! We were one tired family! Claire and I passed the time taking pictures and looking at them....here she is riding so nicely!!!!! She is seriously the best traveler! She can ride for days and flies like a champ! And let me just say that our car was packed! We had the whole family, Bitzy included, and a car full of presents!

We got to Strick's moms and the fun began! She has so many nutcrackers set out....I did worry about how Claire would do since she is so mobile and into everything! She ran in and said hi to them all and then moved on....for the time being...she tried again on several occasions, but never did any major damage!

We had a visit from Kate and Chad! So great to see them! This was the only time we saw Claire sit still....Kate had the magic touch!!!!

Claire and her baby. As most of you know, I LOVED baby dolls when I was a little girl and I was concerned that Claire might not.....you see she is pretty rough and plays hard with all her "guy friends" so I was thinking we might not have a "girly-girl" on our hands. I was so wrong! She loves her babies she got for Christmas. She feeds them and tries to give them sips of her drinks and bites of her food! So sweet! Until she throws them on the ground to go on to the next thing, but she does love them ;)

Grandmother also gave her a purse. She loves it too! She puts it on her arm and says bye-bye to everyone! We left her with my parents in Nac while we went back to Dallas later in the week for a wedding. They had her outside with her doll stroller and baby, the purse, and a cell phone. My mom said she was pushing with stroller, carrying the purse, and talking on the cell phone all at once.......they cracked up because they knew exactly where she had learned that ;)
